Application for IFSTA Certificate

International Federation of Swimming Teachers' Association (IFSTA) is a international recognised swimming body. It is a prestige to own one of IFSTA certificate that qualify you to teach internationally.  Singapore Swimming Teachers' Association is opening out to all currently active member to apply this IFSTA certificate if they meet the following criteria:

1. Holder of Bronze Medallion Award with valid CPR or Standard First Aids.
2. Holder of Swimming Teachers' Certificate.
3. Must be a SSTA member for minimum of 5 years.
4. Must be actively teaching swimming and involved in SSTA's activities for the past 5 years.
5. Paid up membership.
6. Must have good character and has no record of complaints from the public with regards to swimming coaching.
7. There must be three proposers for the application. Proposers must be the Council members with Tutor qualification.
8. Application is subjected to Council’s approval.
9. Successful applicants are permitted to use IFSTA's logo on namecards only.

To apply, Members are required to fill up the membership application form (can be downloaded from the "Membership" page) and tick on IFSTA's box, attach a cheque of $110/- ($100 for the cost of the certificate and $10 admin fee) and mail it to SSTA. Upon receiving your application we will noticfy you if your application has been approved.
