Swimming Teachers’ Certification (Part 2-STC)2009
Dates: 3/11, 5/11, 11/11, 12/11, 13/11, 16/11, 17/11, 18/11(Practical) 20/11(Theory)
Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 7.30pm. to 10.00pm.
Course Venue: The Grassroot Club (Beside Yio Chu Kang Mrt) .
Parking: Please park at open space carpark designated for guests.
Dress Code: Please be advised that you should be in proper attire.No slippers and singlet is allowed.
Course Requirement:
Compulsory: All interested participants are to attend a water skill test, which will be conducted on 29 October 2009 at 7.00pm at The Yio & Chu Kang Swimming Complex. Please report to Mr Terence Tan or Foo Chee Han(93825796) at the Competition Pool.
- Completed Part1 - STA Basic Teacher's Course or equivalent
- Age: 18 years and above.
- Completed Lifesaving Bronze Medallion from the Singapore Life Saving Society or equivalent.
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.
- Able to swim four strokes for a minimum of 50 metres.
- Able to understand, write and give instruction in English.
- Participants who passed the water skill test will proceed to an interview.
- Failure to attend any one training sessions shall automatically be considered a failure for this course.
- Admission to the course is subjected to approval of the Council of SSTA. Course Fees: $ 485 (STA Member) $ 520 (Non Member, $35 is for SSTA membership registration fee).
- Please make crossed cheque payable to “Singapore Swimming Teachers’ Association”.
- Closing Date for course registration: 29 October 2009
- Please prepare 1 photo, Bm ,Cpr and Btc ( photocopied)
